Parents at an elementary school in Compton are expressing outrage that a former porn star was invited to read to their children.
Earlier this month, recently-retired porn star Sasha Grey was a guest reader at Emerson Elementary School for their Read Across America Day.
Grey spoke about the event on Twitter, saying: "Spent the am with Read Across America Compton, reading to the sweetest 1st & 3rd grade students @ Emerson Elementary!"
But parents are not happy, TMZ reports, and have complained to the PTA.
But school officials are now claiming that the appearance never happened, TMZ says.
The website also has photos of Grey at the school.
Grey has not done porn in two years, TMZ says, and may have been invited based on her recent, more mainstream credits, including "Entourage."
