Their petition calls for the Malaysian government to implement the eight proposals that were put forward to them by the organisers of Bersih 2.0.
Mr Wang Yuansheng, one of the leaders of the petition drive, said that the message they want to send is that the Malaysian government has to hold its elections in a clean and fair manner.
Besides submitting the petition to the Malaysian High Commissioner in Singapore, several Malaysians living in Singapore also planned to take part in a rally at the JB City Square today.

Sunday in what appeared to be a coordinated attack by militants on three neighborhoods frequented by Afghan government officials and their international allies.
Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid claimed responsibility for the assault in a text message to The Associated Press. He said a group of armed suicide bombers have launched an attack on NATO forces headquarters, parliament and a number of diplomatic residences in Kabul.
There were also attacks in two other eastern cities – Jalalabad and Gardez. There were no immediate reports of casualties from those assaults, but details were sketchy and the fighting was still going on. Mujahid did not provide any information about attacks outside the capital.
The first explosions in Kabul struck the central Wazir Akbar Khan neighborhood, which is home to a number of embassies and a NATO base. Gunfire erupted soon after the blasts, forcing people out in the street to quickly take cover. Smoke could be seen rising from a few buildings in the neighborhood as sirens wailed.
More than 10 explosions in all shook the capital, and heavy gunfire continued to shake the city more than 30 minutes after the initial blast.
Militants who had staked out positions in a tall building were firing rockets in different directions, according to an Associated Press reporter at the scene. It was not immediately clear what they were targeting, but shots appeared to be focusing on the nearby British Embassy.
At about the same time, residents reported a blast near the parliament building across town. A police officer in the area, Mohammad Assan, said there was an attack involving shooting near parliament.
Meanwhile, an AP reporter at the Turkish military base on the outskirts of the city said the installation was under direct attack from mortar fire. Turkish and Greek forces were responding with heavy-caliber machine gun fire.

The budget European airline is once again up to its tricks, this time in dealing with rising fuel costs. The airline has announced that it will print its in-flight magazine (that will also double as an in-flight menu) on thinner paper, which will save the airline thousands of pounds in fuel and printing costs, according to The Telegraph. Ryanair will also cut the amount of ice taken on board the plane and reduce the weight of seats and carts.
But the real kicker is what flight attendants have been asked to do. Airline spokesman Stephen McNamara told The Telegraph: "We encourage staff to watch their weight – with the motivation of appearing in the annual Ryanair calendar.”

A judge in Covington reduced the jail time from the 60 days recommended by prosecutors in their plea agreement with Simpson, now an unrestricted free agent after four seasons with the Bengals.

A 50-year old Brooklyn man admitted to police authorities he had murdered his 55-year old roommate in a fistfight during a party that occurred on March 25.
Investigators stormed into Sergey Mamontov's Sheepshead Bay apartment on Tuesday to discover the victim's dismembered body stuffed inside a refrigerator.
According to The New York Post, Mamontov had also attempted to dissolve his roommate's remains in a five-gallon bucket and eight Clorox bottles containing a rib cage and several other body parts.
One source described, "There isn’t even room for an egg in the refrigerator."
Police were tipped off by a friend of the victim who asked the suspect of his roommate's whereabouts, to which Mamontov allegedly responded, "You’re not going to see him anymore. I cut him up."
A neighbor said she had heard similar ominous statements from Mamontov. According to 66-year old Eugene Lisoukova, when she approached him about his new roommate two weeks back, Mamontov responded, "Yes (I have a new roommate), but he will go away soon and no one will see him anymore."

In suburban Dallas, Lancaster police officer Paul Beck said 10 people were injured, two of them severely. Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport canceled hundreds of flights and diverted others heading its way. Among the most stunning video was an industrial section of Dallas, where rows of empty tractor-trailers crumpled like soda cans littered a parking lot.
"The officers were watching the tornadoes form and drop," Kennedale police Chief Tommy Williams said. "It was pretty active for a while."
The confirmed tornadoes touched down near Royce City and Silver Springs, said National Weather Service meteorologist Matt Bishop.
