Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-TF1 Waterproof Rugged Camera

Sony has recently taken the wraps off its own rugged Cyber-Shot camera, the DSC-TF1. The DSC-TF1 will come with the usual forms of protection including waterproof up to depths of 10m, dustproof, shockproof and even freeze proof. The Sony TF1 is waterproof to 33 feet, dustproof, shockproof from falls of about 5 feet and freeze-proof to withstand temperature as low as 14 degree Fahrenheit so you can capture videos and photos when you go skiing, snorkeling, hiking and more. It will also sport large buttons, which is pretty considerate of Sony especially since the camera was designed to be used during outdoor activities where smaller buttons might be harder to reach because of gloves, slippery hands and such. The DSC-TF1 will feature a 16.1MP Super HAD CCD sensor with 4x optical zoom, HD (720p) video capture capabilities, built-in flash and built-in filters for post-processing. The rugged camera has a 2.7-inch LCD display and supports Memory Stick Micro and microSD/SDHC memory cards. Other features include Face Detection, In-camera Editing, Intelligent Auto, Scene Modes and D-Range Optimizer. You can also add a creative touch to your photos with Pture Effects, including Toy camera, Pop Color, Partial color and Soft high-key.
